The Fleurieu Peninsula is a fascinating and beautiful region, only an hours drive south of Adelaide’s CBD.

It has so much to offer the visitor, with awesome coastal scenery, wonderful wines, superb restaurants and tranquil vistas.

For tourists and visitors with limited time to tour the Fleurieu, professional help is available at the Yankalilla Tourist Information Centre.

The enthusiastic volunteer staff are locals, who delight in sharing their knowledge of the region that they love so much. They have all been trained and the centre is fully accredited.

A little over 12,500 tourists visited the Yankalilla Tourist Information Centre in the last 12 months, and this figure is increasing at a healthy 12% each year.

Helpful and friendly staff provide a variety of services, and can supply maps, brochures, local information, and reliable, up-to-date information regarding accommodation, restaurants, attractions, events and activities.

Tour operators can utilise the services of a “step aboard” guide who has the local knowledge to provide a range of information to passengers during their tour.

Bookings for accommodation, restaurants and the Sealink ferry service to Kangaroo Island can be arranged through the Tourism and Information Centre.

The centre is open every day (except Christmas)
9 - 5 Mon - Fri
10 - 5 Sat and Sun

Residents in the Yankalila-Normanville area have adopted the slogan “Yankalilla Bay - you’ll love what we haven’t done to the place”. Unchanged and unchanging, the Fleurieu Peninsula will continue to be a tourist mecca for a long time.
