Naracoorte Underground Music Festival
In the past on Postcards we've looked at the magnificent Naracoorte Caves in the state's south-east. This series of limestone chambers were formed over millions of years with calcified water forming stalagtites and stalagmites. The caves are world heritage listed. Early next month they will play a different part as the venue for the Naracoorte Underground Music Festival. The limestone concert hall off Blanche Cave will be used for blues, folk, classical, rock and jazz music over the weekend. The Naracoorte Underground Music Festival is being held the first weekend of November - that's in a fortnight. For details contact Jane on (08) 8762 0487 or email: info@postcards-sa.com.au
