Symphony on Strathalbyn In the Fleurieu Peninsula region of South Australia

Strathalbyn is one of the secret delights of the Adelaide Hills, with many a hidden gem or two to be uncovered while wandering through its many antique shops.

Only about forty minutes from Adelaide, Strath offers plenty for the leisurely stroller with a love of history. Settled by Scottish immigrants from the late 1830s it's one of the Hills' oldest towns with more than thirty heritage-listed buildings.

And on Saturday March 25 2006 there's yet another reason to make your way to this beautiful Hills hideaway. The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra will be performing a concert at the Strathalbyn racecourse.
