The area known as Monash was proclaimed early in the twentieth century.
Situated just 12km north of well-known Riverland town Berri, this rural community has become recognised for the free-admission Monash Adventure Park.
An energetic stint on the flying fox and slippery dip is all very well for a couple of hours, but adults soon grow tired, and anxious for a place to rest.
Fortunately for them, located in the heart of Monash is a special site intended purely for fun at a more relaxed pace. The Monash Club can be found just off the Sturt Highway, Madison Avenue.
The Monash Club is proud to provide comfortable, clean and entertaining surroundings for members and guests alike. Gaming facilities include a range of pokies, TAB and keno. Children are also catered for with amusements including a Nintendo games console. The Club is equally delighted to acquaint visitors with their staff, who offer friendly and personalised service.
From Wednesday through to Sunday evenings, everyone is welcome to dine at the Club. Drinks are also available at the fully stocked bar. The weekly raffles (held on Friday nights) are one of the Club’s social highlights. The Monash Club is also available for your next function. They regularly host wedding receptions, engagements, birthday and other types of parties.
If you wish to become a member of the Monash Club, applicants should be proposed and seconded by another member. The application then goes through the committee and membership is determined. However, visitors are always welcome. The Monash Club is proud to ‘cater for all walks of life’.
