The Milang Lakeside Caravan Park is situated on the sandy shores of beautiful Lake Alexandrina, Australia’s largest fresh water lake. The caravan park is only 75km from Adelaide and is the perfect spot for water sports. Scores of visitors often partake in sailing, power boating, windsurfing, fishing and even kite sailing on the lake’s shoreline.

Milang is the starting position for one of Australia’s largest yacht races (the Fresh Water Sailing Classic), where vessels of all descriptions set sail for the seaside town of Goolwa. The park is especially popular as a base camp for sailors as there’s a boat ramp, ready fuel supplies and of course, all that lovely fresh water to fish. The township of Milang holds great historical value, as it was once Australia’s largest inland port. So if water activities don’t overly appeal there are plenty of delightful old buildings to peruse, walks to take, wildlife to watch and a rail museum to explore. Additionally, the caravan park is closely situated to the distinguished wineries of Langhorne Creek and Currency Creek.

Gill and Joe Colaruotolo are your convivial hosts at Milang Lakeside Caravan Park. They welcome all visitors, and are equally happy to accommodate the family pet. The caravan park offers many powered and unpowered sites, and also a range of onsite caravans, standard and ensuite cabins, upon comfortable grassed and shady positions. Boom gate security to the caravan park’s entrance offers visitors that extra piece of mind.
