Golf In Big River Country

For some people a day on the golf course is the best holiday they can have. South Australia is flush with courses, and nowhere is that more obvious than the Riverland. This is Waikerie Golf Club - one of 21 courses that dot the Murray from the Border to the Sea. Green fees range from 17-dollars at Murray Bridge to 2-dollars at Blanchetown and Paruna. The Big River Country Tourism Board has produced a glossy guide to the region with details of every golf course. It includes a guide to nearby accommodation and wineries.
