Digital Da VinciDigital Da Vinci: Lisa speaks to these graphic designers in the Adelaide City region of South Australia

The digital age has thrown up a host of new possibilities when it comes to preserving those precious personal and family moments. At Digital DaVinci on Unley Road, Adam Steinhardt and his crew of graphic designers can help turn your digital photos into a striking wall feature.

Photos of a range of objects from seashells and rocks to extreme close-ups of flowers have all been transposed onto canvas and stretched over frames that leap out at the viewer.

And if you don't like the colour nature's provided, then PhotoShop it into something you'd prefer. Adam recently returned from a world trip and his images exhumed from photographs that might ordinarily have been buried in the computer or the bottom draw now come to life.

"You'd never put that photo on the wall," said Adam referring to a montage of shots. "But putting that image together with the others gives it good strength and makes it an art piece of interest."

Those same world tour photos can also be incorporated into your very own self published and professionally bound travel book.

"The cool thing is that you can make it, you can type it and you can actually put your photos in there and two weeks later the book comes back and it's yours."

Adam's professionally bound wedding book is proof of the diversity the digital camera brings to any major event. The professional photographer took her posed shots and then Adam and his bride Kat raided the images snapped by the 100 or so friends on the big day.

The possibilities of digital photography are endless. How about a photographic calendar featuring the grand kids? It makes a great gift for Nanna. If you have any further questions please email info@postcards-sa.com.au
