Formerly Beachport’s original hotel, the attractive two storey building now occupied by Bompa’s by the Sea, is a local landmark. Built in 1876, its foreshore location provides spectacular views of the 772m town jetty and the beautiful waters and pristine beaches of Rivoli Bay. Named Baie de Quiberon by Baudin in 1802, it was later changed by Freycinet to Baie de Rivoli to honour an army associate of Napoleon Bonaparte
