The Gallerie: Located at Robe, in the Limestone Coast/South East region of South Australia
The Limestone Coast town of Robe, situated on beautiful Guichen Bay, is the holiday destination for thousands of visitors throughout the year.
It is the centre of an extensive seafood and crayfish industry, and is also well-known for quality wine production.
Robe residents, Tony and Marian Dawson currently operate two seemingly diverse projects, a cray boat and a boutique vineyard.
Their latest venture, ‘The Gallerie’, is an exciting licensed restaurant which successfully combines the two.
With flair, a former ANZ bank has been tranformed into a new and exciting 60-seat fine-food restaurant, which will be used to showcase Dawson Estate wines together with other locally produced wines and seafood.
Tony Dawson is a cray fisherman by profession, and his experience ensures that only the finest seafood is served in The Gallerie.
The menu also includes other popular dishes including steak, chicken, venison and lamb. The Gallerie is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week under the watchful eyes of Host, Nigel Plaskett, and Head Chef, Scott Mansfield.
Glass doors lead to a pleasant outdoor setting accommodating up to 40, where patrons will be able to enjoy alfresco dining.
A separate 20-seat front room is available for more intimate dining, and is ideal for special events and anniversaries.
When you next visit Robe, enjoy the very best of local food and wine at The Gallerie. You will not be disappointed.
